The Huawei nova 2 Lite lands in Malaysia for RM799

Huawei has just announced the release of their affordable nova 2 lite phone that comes with a 5.99-inch HD+ fullview display and a decent array of hardware that includes a dual rear camera array for a very agreeable RM799.

For the price of entry, the nova 2 lite has quite a lot going for it. For starters, they 5.99-inch display they have has an 18:9 aspect ratio; quite a feat to shoehorn into something of this size as the casing is just 7.8mm thin. The rest of the hardware consists of a midrange Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Of note is that it has a triple SIM card slot, allowing you to cram in two SIM cards simultaneously along with a microSD card too up to 256GB in size.

In terms of imaging, the rear camera comes with a 13-MP sensor with a 2-MP riding shotgun to offer depth data while the front has an 8-MP snapper for selfies. Keeping the whole affair powered is a 3,000mAh battery that is rated for approximately 13 hours of video playback.

The phone comes in your choice of a shade of iridescent blue or black and is available from 23 March onwards for RM799 at all Celcom and Maxis authorised stores as well as authorised resellers nationwide. While stocks last, they’re also throwing in a free travel bag too.
