Budget nova Y70 features big screen and modest RM699 price tag

At the Huawei Flagship 2022 launch, they showcased their latest Mate Xs 2 foldable flagship phone, a more affordable P50 as well as their budget nova Y70 phone that combines a large battery and display for RM699.

The Huawei nova Y70 features a 6.75-inch LCD with HD+ resolution and a modest 60Hz refresh rate, a quad core CPU of unspecified vintage running EMUI 12, 4GB RAM, 128GB of expandable storage with a microSD card slot and a rear triple camera array (48MP+5MP ultra wide angle + 2MP depth camera).

Up front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. Keeping it powered is a 6,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. As you’d surmise, it also has 4G connectivity.

In Malaysia, the Huawei nova Y70 will be available in Crystal Blue, Pearl White and Midnight Black for RM699 and RM70 in freebies in Huawei Mobile Service from 17th June 2022 onwards at the official Huawei website, experience stores nationwide as well as their online stores at Lazada and Shopee.
