Huawei nova Y90 phone arrives in Malaysia at a modest RM999

Huawei aims to take affordability to new heights with the release of their latest Huawei nova Y90 in Malaysia that offers the essentials like a large display and equally humongous battery for just RM999. 

What is the Huawei nova Y90

Prior to the nova Y90, Huawei released the nova Y70 last month that came at RM699 though it comes with a lower resolution HD+ display.

For the price of entry, the Huawei nova Y90 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2,388) LCD display pixels resolution with a punchhole for a front-facing 8MP F/2.0 selfie camera and a fast 90Hz refresh rate.

Running under the hood of the phone is their EMUI 12 user interface running off a midrange Snapdragon 680 CPU with a 4G LTE modem.

Paired with the CPU is 8GB RAM and a modest 128GB of storage. The rear features a triple camera setup built around a 50MP F/1.8 camera paired with a 2MP macro camera and 2MP depth camera. Keeping it charged is a 5,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging. 

Fortunately, Huawei is throwing in extra kit to make the nova Y90 a complete kit as you get a 40W fast charger, a USB-C cable, a casing as well as a pre-applied screen protector to go with the phone which adds even more value to its RM999 asking price.
