Huawei P30 and P30 Pro 8GB RAM/256GB now repriced to RM1,999 and RM2,999
Launched earlier this year, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro were impressive phones that blended impressive hardware and some seriously good cameras into a good looking chassis while running Android 9.0. Now, Huawei Malaysia is offering new, more tempting prices for the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro that are lower than ever before.
Just in time for the holiday season, Huawei has knocked the price of the P30 down to RM1,999 and the P30 Pro with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage down to RM2,999. The best part is that Huawei Malaysia is retaining their 2 year extended warranty (1 year + 1 year extended warranty) for both the P30 and P30 Pro so you know you’re in good hands.
To refresh your memory, the P30 Pro is one of the best camphones from Huawei, superseded only by their Mate30 Pro in terms of imaging quality with a DxOMark Mobile score of 112 for its rear quad camera array that consisted of a primary 40-MP, a secondary 20-MP, a third 8-MP camera and a ToF sensor. Up front, the P30 Pro has a 6.47-inch FHD+ OLED display with a Kirin 980 octacore processor running under the hood running full fat Android 9.0. While a 512GB variant exists, only the 8GB RAM/256GB version has been priced down to RM2,999.
The P30 at RM1,999 has midrange pricing but solid flagship class hardware. You’re getting a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display, a Kirin 980 processor running full fat Android 9.0 paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The rear consists of a capable triple camera array with impressive low light performance thanks to the Kirin 980’s NPU (40-MP +16-MP + 8-MP) while the front has a 32-MP selfie camera. Keeping it juiced is a 3,650mAh battery. To refresh your memory, you can check out our P30 review.
