Huawei serves up a sweet trade-in programme for the Mate 8

If you’re staring at your old phone and are looking to part ways, now is the time to make that final split as Huawei’s offering an interesting trade-in programme for their Mate 8 phone. All you have to do is to walk into any one of several of Huawei’s designated trade-in locations and bring your old phone in to get it assessed.

You don’t need to bring in the original box, charger or other accessories that came with your old phone though it has to be in working order with an intact display. Depending on the model, you can get up to RM1,750 off the purchase price and all you have to do next is to top up the difference in cash to get your new Mate 8.

The deal is good till 30 June 2016 and can be used to trade-in for either the standard Mate 8 with 3GB RAM/32GB ROM or the higher end variant with 4GB RAM/64GB storage though they’ll still knock RM100 off the price of the standard version if you opt for that.
