Huge MSI 40th Anniversary Exhibition Takes Centerstage at Songshan for Computex 2026
Alongside an impressive booth that showcased their latest technologies and designs at Computex 2026, the MSI 40th anniversary celebrations also saw the brand establishing a special commemorative exhibition that is a walk down memory lane at Warehouse 5, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park.
MSI 40th Anniversary Exhibition Walkthrough
Open to the public, the MSI 40th Anniversary Exhibition comprises eight semi-interactive zones that highlight the history of MSI from its founding to the present day. In the first zone, visitors can admire a one-minute introductory film that shares a quick brief of MSI’s key milestones.
Moving on to the second zone, visitors can admire the cornerstones of MSI’s founding in MSI 1986 with examples of their 287 motherboards and overclockable motherboards along with congratulatory messages from global semiconductor giants upon their founding.
This area also shows rare historical examples like the K7 Pro motherboard, the Z87-G45 motherboard and in a leap to the present, an example of the latest GeForce RTX 5090 32G Lightning Z that was also showcased at Computex 2026.
The third zone at the MSI 40th Anniversary showcase shares more about MSI’s internal process from design and manufacturing through to rigorous testing as well as a ‘One-Day PC Assembly Challenge’ where visitors can unlock rare limited-edition gashapon capsule toys.
In the fourth zone, visitors can explore how MSI’s technological prowess intersects with modern pop culture with examples from the latest Frieren collaboration that include a selection of MSI peripherals as well as other limited-edition collaborations with other renowned properties like Neon Genesis Evangelion, Monster Hunter and Toy-Story.
In the fifth zone of the MSI 40th Anniversary showcase, visitors can admire MSI’s latest selection of displays, desktops and laptops for smart offices and educational use. Moving on, the sixth zone is the most striking one of all with bold red neon lighting and an e-sports arena ambiance where visitors can experience the MSI Claw and the latest titles like Resident Evil Requiem to experience the power of MSI hardware.
In the seventh zone, visitors can view the latest AI laptops and desktops including MSI’s solutions for enterprise deployments and even smart EV chargers too.
