New IKEA House Party campaign offers creative inspiration and chance for RM10,000 kitchen makeover
There’s no place like home, so goes the popular proverb and IKEA Malaysia is looking to embody it as they are throwing a month-long IKEA House Party celebration through the month of September across their Damansara, Cheras, Tebrau and Batu Kawan outlets with the chance for three lucky shoppers to win an RM10,000 kitchen makeover.

In a recent event at their Damansara outlet, IKEA shared key findings from their IKEA Life at Home report along with highlights for the IKEA House Party campaign. The IKEA Life at Home Report is an annual study conducted across 39 countries last year from May to June 2024 in collaboration with YouGov with 1,024 respondents selected in Malaysia.
Among the findings are that just over half of Malaysians (56%) feel positive about their current life at home, with comfort (83%), security (83%) and enjoyment (80%) emerging as the top three needs for a better quality of living.
Further findings in the report discovered that 43% believe cooking and eating at home is healthier than eating out, while a considerable share of respondents are making more conscious choices about healthy eating (37%) and food waste reduction (38%). Another key finding from the report stated that storage, which accounts for 40% of IKEA business, will remain a cornerstone of the business.
IKEA House Party details
Report aside, the IKEA House Patty will take place from today till 5 October 2025 and will have an array of in-store cook-offs, performances from local DJs and entertainers, insightful masterclasses for interior decorating and recipes and more. There will also be appearances by IKEA’s chef bear mascot, FABLER BJÖRN and a host of collectibles and promotions too.
