Illegear reveals the new Ionic 14 notebook for creators

The Illegear Ionic 15 is a sleek looking beauty of a notebook with a gorgeous display and superb endurance in the field though it was a bit large on account of it’s 15.6-inch display but the brand is now unveiling a new variant dubbed the Ionic 14 that has the same performance in a more compact form factor.

The Ionic 14 is slimmer and lighter than the larger Ionic 15 with a carry weight of just 1.05kg on account of its ultralight magnesium chassis while being just 15mm thin.

As you’d surmise, the Ionic 14 packs a smaller display than the Ionic 15, clocking in with a 14-inch Full HD IPS Infinivision display with support for 100% of the sRGB colour space. It also has a slightly smaller 47Wh battery but which also offers approximately similar battery life on account of the smaller display.

Fortunately, the rest of the hardware in the Ionic 14 is identical to the larger Ionic 15. You’re getting the latest refreshed 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10510U processor, an NVIDIA GeForce MX250 with 2GB GDDR5 graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up to 4TB of storage via 2 M.2 PCIe SSD slots.

This configuration looks ideal for casual creators and those looking to cut short video clips and clean up photo edits and combined with its more compact dimensions, it may be a more viable option for users who are on the road a lot.
