Affordable phone brand Infinix has just launched their latest flagship phone the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ in Malaysia that aims to offer exceptional bang for the buck along with their new AI Buds wireless earbuds.

While optimised for mobile gaming, Infinix has kitted out the NOTE 50 Pro+ with a solid array of hardware for its price point. Priced at RM1,599 in Malaysia, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ aims to hit above its price point especially for gaming. For what you pay for, you get a solid ensemble that consists of a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with up to a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits peak brightness and a 2,160Hz touch sampling rate for exceptional responsiveness in gaming.
Content creators will also appreciate its 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut which ensures faithful colour reproduction especially when editing photos and videos. It even has stereo speakers too tweaked by JBL that are able to offer up to 58% better bass.
Powering the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ is a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor built on a 4nm process that also has a 5G modem. Of note is the inclusion of an Adaptive Thermal Management system and a vapour chamber module that helps to reduce heat by up to 10°C under heavy loads. The phone runs on the latest Android 15, has DeekSeep AI baked in and has their own XOS 15 firmware overlaying it. For Malaysia, the phone will come with 12GB RAM along with the ability to add up to 12GB of virtual RAM off the 256GB of non-expandable storage.
For imaging duties, the phone as a triple camera array on the rear with a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP telephoto camera using a periscope lens that also comes with OIS and that offers up to 6x lossless zoom and 100x digital zoom as well as an 8MP ultra wide angle camera. Up front, the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G also has a single 32MP camera for selfies and mug shots. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,200mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
In terms of colourways, you get three choices for Malaysia – Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple and a swanky looking Racing Edition that has geometric stripe motifs across the rear. According to Infinix, the NOTE 50 Pro+ will also get 2 years of Android updates all the way to Android 17 and 3 years of security updates too.

Also launched alongside the Infinix NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G are the Infinix AI Buds wireless earbuds that cost RM399, feature 10mm drivers and have hybrid ANC+ ENC with up to 45dB of noise cancellation performance. What makes them unique is that they are able to offer real-time translation along with battery life rated for up to 36 hours of use.
