Jabra Elite 10 wireless earbuds with ANC aim to make work and play sound awesome for RM1,299
Jabra is on a roll of late with a slew of new earbuds and headphones like the recently launched sports-oriented Jabra Elite Active 8 and Evolve2 65 Flex. For more casual users looking for superior sound, comfort and noise cancelling, the brand has launched their new flagship Jabra Elite 10 wireless earbuds in Malaysia priced at RM1,299 with your choice of Gloss Black, Titanium Black, Cream and Cocoa colourways near the end of September 2023.
What is the Jabra Elite 10
In terms of design, the Jabra Elite 10 features a familiar top-opening charging case with silicone-tipped eargels tweaked with their own Jabra ComfortFit tech as well as a semi-open design to ensure all-day comfort with each earbud hosting a clickable control button for music playback and to take calls. The earbuds each host an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance for workouts or the odd shower or two though the case itself doesn’t have a similar rating for dust and water ingress.
Seeing as this is Jabra issued gear, it has a host of useful tweaks for productivity including fast pairing support in seconds for smartphones, Windows laptops and tablets too. The earbuds also have Bluetooth Multipoint so that it can swap between 2 devices at once so you can listen to music on a laptop and then switch to your phone to take a phone call.
Aiming to exemplify Jabra’s hallmarks for superior call quality and noise cancelling, the Jabra Elite 10 hosts 10mm drivers that are able to offer Spatial Sound with Dolby Head Tracking technology to offer vivid soundscapes where sounds get louder or weaker depending on where you turn your head in a movie or song which lends a three dimensional feel to music or movies though this is reliant on compatible media that support the standard.
On top of richer audio, the Jabra Elite 10 also hosts their top of the line Jabra Advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) tech that is twice as strong as their standard-issue ANC in their more mainstream headsets to deal with irritating background noises be it when you’re working or even in a conversation. On that note, Jabra has a host of noise-reduction algorithms working in the background in tandem with six-microphones so that voice calls on either side sound crisp and clear while also reducing irksome wind noise too.
In terms of endurance, the Jabra Elite 10 is rated for up to 6 hours of use on a single charge with up to 21 hours of usage from the charging case for a total of 27 hours of use with ANC on which can be charged via the USB-C port or via Qi wireless charging pads with a 5 minute charge offering an hour of use.
