Jabra Elite 4 Active earbuds bring ANC and clear calls for the gym priced at RM579
With audio jacks and wired headphones going the way of the dodo, wireless earbuds have become the norm but good ones that offer both good audio and clear call quality are rarer than hen’s teeth. Fortunately, Jabra’s recent Elite 2 and Elite 7 Pro have filled the gap last year but their new Elite 4 Active earbuds that have been launched in Malaysia looks to address a more fitness-oriented, budget-minded crowd.
What is the Jabra Elite 4 Active
The Jabra Elite 4 Active is an interesting take on wireless earbuds that builds on the brand’s fundamentals of offering excellent call quality and further optimises the design for gym bunnies and fitness jockeys by adding an IP57 water resistance rating to render it dust and water resistant in up to a metre of water for up to 30 minutes at a time.
On top of the IP57 rating, the Jabra Elite 4 Active packs 6mm drivers with customisable equaliser settings via their paired app, a 4-microphone array to ensure crisp calls and active noise cancellation (ANC) to squelch background noises. Pairing it is a doddle as it has Google Fast Pair and the earbuds are also Spotify Tap compatible with Alexa audio assistant support baked in.
Battery life is rated at about 7 hours of playtime on a single charge with 21 more hours for a grand total of 28 hours of active usage time which is more than enough to tackle anything from a quick workout session to an Ironman triathlon.
How much is the Jabra Elite 4 Active in Malaysia
In Malaysia, the Jabra Elite 4 Active is now available nationwide at RM579 in your choice of black, navy and mint at preferred retailers and online at Jabra’s stores on Shopee and Lazada. If you’re looking for something more affordable, you can check out the Jabra Elite 2 while if you’re looking for truly superior call quality and something more for the boardroom, you can check out the Jabra Elite 7 Pro.
