Lazada celebrates fifth anniversary with flash sales and discounts galore

Lazada celebrates its fifth anniversary this year and to date, according to their bean counters, they’ve sold over 12 million phones – enough to total up to 2,100 vertically stacked Petronas Twin Towers end to end – since they’ve opened their virtual doors. The online e-tailer  has also sold over 5.3 million diapers – enough to soak up 516 Olympic-sized swimming pools and has sold enough bottles of bodywash to fill 1.3 million bathtubs. That’s a lot of stuff sold.

To celebrate, Lazada is hosting their 5th Birthday celebration which will take place from 22nd to 24th March 2017 and will see the brand offering crazy discounts for a host of products from such famous brands as Huawei, JBL, Nestle, Drypers, L’oreal, Microsoft, Watsons, Sports Direct, Bosch, Tesco, Tefal and Levi’s at discounts up to 90% off on selected items. For the duration of the celebration, Lazada will also be offering flash sales as low as RM1 for selected products, ‘buy-1-free-1’ promotions as well as free shipping for over a million products across the board.
