New Legasi: Bomba the Movie teases unreleased Honor tough phone

Astute cinemagoers at the premiere of the latest Legasi: Bomba the Movie film that has just debuted in Malaysia will also notice a unique cameo in the form of an unreleased Honor smartphone. While the name, specifications and provenance of the phone, glimpsed in parts of the movie remains unknown for now, we can draw on a few conclusions.

The form factor and backplate come in a reddish crimson hue with a rounded camera housing and an official announcement hints that the phone is one of their toughest phones yet. 

Seeing as their Magic7 flagship camera phones have already debuted earlier this year and their Honor 400 series phones have already made an appearance in June, odds are good that this is likely another Honor X-series tough phone. If we’re inferring models, it’s likely a successor to the Honor X9c toughphone that was launched last year. You can check out the stills below for more hints.
