New LEGO DREAMZzz for kids brings creativity to life in exciting new ways with a new show, sets and more

LEGO sets are the very medium for creativity from crafting proof of concept models for engineers all the way to kids bringing their most whimsical ideas to life which is where the new LEGO DREAMZzz line-up comes into the picture which consists of an entire new series of LEGO sets that will debut this coming August paired with a new cartoon show that’s currently airing online.

What is LEGO DREAMZzz about

The LEGO DREAMZzz cartoon series involves a trio of unlikely young heroes called Mateo, Izzi, Cooper, Logan and Zoey who team up and journey into a literal Dream World to tackle a villainous figure called the Nightmare King with the power of imagination. As you’d likely surmise, the series is safe to watch for younger audiences and should also be a fun watch for the young at heart. The first season consists of 10 episodes that are free to view on the LEGO YouTube channel which you can check out here.

For more intrepid dreamers and creators, LEGO is offering the opportunity for kids across the globe to become a Chief Dream Creator with the winners flying to Denmark to participate in several LEGO DREAMZzz workshops in order to champion the positive creative aspects of dreaming for young people across the globe. 

To participate, children between 6-12 years will be encouraged to submit their own dream creation be it a LEGO build they’ve made or a drawing showing their idea that incorporates brick building along with a short description about what the creation is called, what it can do and why it excited them in their dream. The Chief Dream Creator competition kicks off on 20th May 2023 and goes all the way through to 20th June 2023. For more details check out www.lego.com/dreamzzz 

On top of the LEGO Chief Dream Creator competition and the new cartoon series, LEGO is also rolling out six new NPCs in the LEGO Life app who will share activities that can upskill and challenge children while inspiring them as they explore the new LEGO DREAMZzz game world.
