LEGO Home – A Playful Twist to Your Home showcase at TRX shows off infinite possibilities of LEGO home decor with IKEA practical living
While many would recall the sheer variety of whimsical and fun themed sets from the LEGO group, they also create sets that cater to adults too which we’ve enjoyed building. In light of the sheer creative possibilities, the LEGO group and IKEA Malaysia have teamed up to create a special LEGO Home – A Playful Twist To Your Home showcase that shows how practical living and the LEGO Group’s exquisitely creative sets can combine to level up your home décor in equally fun and amazing ways.
What is the LEGO Home – A Playful Twist to Your Home showcase about
Taking place at the Ground Floor of the Exchange TRX from 29 May to 8 June 2025, the LEGO Home – A Playful Twist to Your Home consists of a special home mockup that invites visitors to explore how LEGO sets can be used as home decor to meet different living styles and passions. Effectively, you get to see how LEGO sets for adults look like in practical home settings furnished by IKEA Malaysia.

The home mock-up will not only have a variety of mocked up rooms replete with LEGO sets that maximise the home ambiance, but each room will also feature QR codes for visitors to scan more details about how each setup was done. Among the curated array of LEGO sets at the LEGO Home – A Playful Twist to Your Home showcase is The Fauna Collection – Tiger (31217) which adds a striking centrepiece to your home with a tiger’s head.

Featuring a more sedate, but equally striking aesthetic, the Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree (10348) and the Pretty Pink Flower Bouquet (10342) make for lovely conversation pieces without the need for watering or maintenance. Bibliophiles will also love the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook (10351) and the Lord of the Rings Balrog and Gandalf Book Book (10367) that add a special touch to a bookshelf or mantelpiece.

Then, show your LEGO creation to the event crew at The Exchange TRX to receive a complimentary LEGO polybag (T&C apply).
Share your home decor inspirations with LEGO bricks or sets in a photo(s)/video with a creative caption of not more than 100 words, and include the #MYLEGOHOME and #LEGOMY hashtags.
