New travel-ready Logitech Keys to Go 2 keyboard launched in Malaysia; priced at RM419

Logitech is usually the go-to brand when it comes to productivity oriented keyboards and mice and are fairly common in the market though some of their offerings are surprisingly elusive like their first generation Keys to Go keyboard that’s little thinner than a brochure and was sought after by power users looking to travel light though it’s a bit long in the tooth as it was launched in 2014. Now, they’ve revamped the concept of an ultraportable keyboard with the Keys to Go 2 that’s now available in Malaysia.

Logitech Keys to Go 2 specs

The key takeaway with the Logitech Keys to Go 2 is that rather than a built-in battery like its predecessor, it runs off coin-sized batteries rated to offer up to 36 months of use if you type 2 hours a day before needing a replacement battery. 

The new Logitech Keys To Go also feature a flip-over protective cover to ensure the scissor-switch keys don’t get mashed when the keyboard is tossed in your backpack. Flipping around and about, the cover also acts as a riser to angle the keys for a more comfortable typing experience.

The keys themselves have been tuned for a pleasant typing experience with 1mm key travel and an 18mm pitch. Like its predecessor, it plays well with most operating systems including Android, ChromeOS, Windows, iPadOS, iOS and MacOS though a specialised Apple-only variant of the keyboard exists.
