Mazda CX 60 3.3L MHEV launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM250,000

The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 saw Bermaz showcasing the new Mazda CX 60 3.3L MHEV at their pavilion on the KLIMS 2026 show grounds.

Acting as the apex design of the CX 60 series after the debut of the 2.5L variant in September last year, the Mazda CX 60 3.3L MHEV embodies Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy which translates to Soul in Motion from its native Japanese. This is reflected with its purposeful looking silhouette and your choice of either a Machine Gray or Rhodium White finish with the former featuring a distinctive Honeycomb grille and black plated signature wing while the latter hosts a bar type grille for a more stately presence. Both finishes feature 20-inch alloy wheels.

The interior features exceptional creature comforts, including ventilated 10-way power seats and ambient lighting. Internal cabin options consist of either a white or tan interior. The white interior features wood trim and woven fabrics that utilise traditional Japanese stitching techniques. The Tan interior features leather trim across the console, steering wheel, chairs and cabin with standard stitching.

Up front, you get a 12.3-inch multi-info cluster, the active driving display and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Fortunately, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support comes as standard along with a wireless charger for compatible phones. Complementing the plush cabin design is a 12-speaker BOSE sound system. Other features include a 360-degree View Monitor, reverse camera and parking sensors as well as the usual suite of Mazda i-Activsense features like blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning system, front and rear smart brake support and more.

Of note is the inclusion of a Driver Personalisation System that recognises specific drivers and adjusts seating, mirror and climate settings to personal taste which comes in handy in households with multiple drivers.

Under the hood, Mazda CX 60 3.3L MHEV hosts Mazda’s SkyActive Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture with the e-SkyActiv G 3.3L inline-6 turbo engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. that is able to offer up 280hp and 450Nm.

The engine is complemented by their M Hybrid Boost system that packs a 48V mild hybrid setup that helps with acceleration and ensures seamless i-Stop generation. The Mazda CX 60 3.3L MHEV also hosts a rear-wheel-drive-based i-Active AWD that adds the stability and traction expected of an AWD with the neutral cornering characteristics of a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.
