The successor to the Huawei MediaPad M5 has just landed in Malaysia dubbed, creatively enough, the MediaPad M6 10.8 with the suffix indicating the size of its display. The tablet will be available for purchase this coming 20 December with an impressive raft of hardware enhancements.

The Huawei MediaPad M6 10.8 comes with a large 10.8-inch 2,560 x 1,600 pixel touchscreen and is powered by a 7nm Kirin 980 processor running EMUI 10.0 paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The rear camera has a 13-MP sensor while the front selfie camera has an 8-MP sensor. Keeping it powered is a 7,500mAh battery that offers about 11 hours of video playback on paper.

It also has a set of quad-speakers spaced around the chassis tuned by Harman Kardon to offer rich audio quality for movies and gaming alike. Even with such a hefty battery and speakers crammed in, the tablet is surprisingly lightweight at 385g.
