Mountain Dew Challenge 2023 wraps up with two Guinness world record achievements and more
The prior Mountain Dew Challenge 2023 at Sentul Depot last year that was organised by Mountain Dew saw winners taking home with a healthy slice of an RM200,000 prize pool along with the breaking of two Guinness World Records broken in short order too.
During the event, Malaysia’s 16 best PUBG Mobile teams duelled to the finish and saw team AZ MYX emerging as champions while Sem9 Junior and Twenty2rich Guerilla took 2nd and 3rd place, with each snagging part of the RM2,000 prize pool.
The event also saw the Largest Paintball Word record which was made using 4,715 pallets and The Most People Shooting Paintball Simultaneously which had 298 paintballers shooting at the same time. One Mazuyoshi Kirimura, the Guinness World Records adjudicator, presented the official certificates to Mountain Dew after the records were broken.
“With this year’s Dew Challenge, we could really push the boundaries of what was possible. We knew that we had to bring Malaysians a one of a kind, first time experience that will make them want to break out of the norm, push their boundaries and live their best, most vibrant lives. I am happy to say that it was a success and I couldn’t have imagined a better end to it.” said Amy Gan, VP of Marketing of Etika Sdn. Bhd. For more details check out https://dewchallenge.com/
