MSI announces grand Chinese New Year promotions on selected laptops

MSI Malaysia is certainly getting into the spirit of Chinese New Year as they’re hosting a special Chinese New Year promotion with instant angpow discounts up to RM399 for selected gaming notebooks in their line-up as well as freebies galore thrown in for good measure.

The MSI Chinese New Year promotion features instant discounts for three MSI gaming notebooks – all of them are potent gaming rigs: the GE73VR 7RE, the GE53VR 7RE and the GL62M 7RDX. Discounts vary depending on what you buy. The GE63VR 7RE which retails for RM7,199 enjoys the largest discount and comes at a lower price of RM6,800 for the duration of the promotion. MSI is also throwing in an MSI-edition Steelseries Siberia V2 gaming headset on the house to sweeten the pot.

The GE73VR 7RE which originally retails for RM7,499 retails at a discounted price of RM7,300. The GL62M 7RDX which retails for RM4,299 enjoys an RM200 discount for a promotional price of RM4,099. The laptops on promotion are pretty well specced out with Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GTX 10-series cards and scads of storage space to tackle almost any game in the market and of the three, the GE73VR and GE63VR are beefy enough to handle VR content too.
