MSI opens pre-orders for GE63 Raider RGB and GT75 Titan with 8th Gen Intel processors
Hot off the launch of MSI’s GS65 Stealth Thin gaming laptop was the announcement of preorders for their two other refreshed gaming notebooks dubbed the GT75VR Titan and the GE63 Raider RGB Edition that are powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core processors.
The preorders are unique this time around as the GT75VR Titan is exclusive to MSI’s official online store on 11street while the GE63 Raider RGB is an exclusive on the MSI online store on Lazada.
Preorders start from yesterday, 6 April all the way through to 15 April 2018. If you’re a traditionalist, you can optionally place your preorders at a select series of physical retail stores nationwide. Preorder details and locations are available at MSI’s official website here.
MSI GE63 Raider RGB
The MSI GE63 Raider RGB is an exclusive pre-order only available on the Lazada MSI store in two different subvariants designated as the 8RF and 8RE though both will come a slick looking integrated SteelSeries RGB keyboard that can be tweaked to the tune of 16.7 million different colours on demand. The top lid of the GE63 Raider also features RGB lighting as well, making it an eye-catching affair the moment you plunk it down for gaming.
The MSI GE63 Raider 8RF comes with a 15.6-Full HD 120Hz display, the latest Intel Coffeelake i7-8750H processor, 16GB DDR4 RAM, a 256GB SSD and a 1TB 7200RPG hard disk and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 GPU for RM8,999.
Optionally, you can acquire the slightly cheaper GE63 Raider 8RE that has much of the same hardware as the 8RF though it swaps it the GTX1070 for a slightly cheaper but still quite capable GeForce GTX1060 GPU with a total lower price tag of RM7,599. Preorders get a free limited edition MSI Lucky Dragon Doll.
MSI GT75VR Titan
As massive as it is powerful, the refreshed GT75VR 8RF Titan is their most impressively specced gaming rig that they have available.
The notebook has Intel’s latest i9-8950HK processor running the show paired with a pair of beefy NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 GPUs in SLI configuration, a whopping 32GB RAM, a 512GB NVMe SSD and a 1TB hard disk.
The 17.3-inch display on th GT75VR is exceptionally crisp with UHD resolution and the whole affair is cooled by an improved cooling array for sustained performance even under heavy loads. This impressive array of hardware is yours for RM21,999.
For RM6000 less at RM15,999, you can opt for the GT75VR Titan 8RG variant which swaps out the processor for an i8-8750H processor, a single NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080 processor, 16GB RAM and a 256GB NVMe SSD and a 1TB hard disk.
Fortunately, the 17.3-inch display on the 8RG variant is similarly well specced with UHD resolution. Preorders get an MSI-series Steelseries Siberia V2 headset.
