Newly announced MSI Summit , Modern and Prestige series laptops literally mean business
MSI is best known for their range of gaming laptops that range from superheavy gaming behemoths to rigs intended for more casual gamers as well as a recent foray in creator laptops but now they’re taking the next step and delving into the business market with three expanded ranges ofof business laptops. Meet the MSI Summit, Prestige and Modern series of laptops.
The three new business laptop series will all be powered by Intel’s latest 11th Generation Core processors code-named Tiger Lake and their new Iris Xe graphics integrated graphics. Generally speaking, the new 11th Gen Intel Core computationally offers 20% faster performance than their immediate predecessors with the double the graphics performance of last generation’s integrate GPUs.

The new MSI Summit series of business laptops are thematically inspired as being at the top of their range, which does explain the bold looking advertising they have of a corporate executive on the top of a plateau with slim, sleek and rather business-chic looking designs. They’re also built to be secure from a business standpoint with TPM 2.0, IR webcams and fingerprint readers.
Configurations vary based on your needs but all of the Summit series with your choice of the Summit E14, Summit E15, Summit B14 and Summit 15, with your choice of 14-inch FHD panels, 14-inch UHD 100% Adobe sRGB validated touchscreens and 15.6-inch 4K UHD touchscreens, either integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 Ti graphics and PCIe Gen4 SSDs.
MSI Prestige series business laptops
The MSI Prestige line-up for 2020 has been around for a while but they’ve refreshed it with the new 11th Gen Intel Core processors and tweaks to the design with the new range consisting of the Prestige 14, Prestige 15 and Prestige 14 Evo laptops. The Prestige range will come in various configuration options including up to 15.6-inch 4K UHD displays and 14-inch 4K UHD displays both of which are 100% Adobe sRGB validated displays.
The MSI Prestige 14 Evo is of note as it’s one of the first Intel Evo-certified laptops in the market, that aims to offer a ‘perfect combination of performance, responsiveness, battery life and stunning visuals for a new class of fast, stylish laptops’. The Prestige 14 Evo will integrate Intel Iris Xe graphics, a 14-inch 1080p display, 15GB DDR4 RAM, a PCIe Gen4 SSD and Thunderbolt 4 ports. Graphic card options for the Prestige range from integrated Iris Xe graphics all the way to either the NVIDIA GeFOrce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q or the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU

MSI Modern series laptops
The MSI Modern 14 and Modern 15 will respectively have a 14-inch 1080P display and a 15.6-inch display, up to NVIDIA GeForce MX450 graphics, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and PCIe Gen4 SSDs along with Thunderbolt 4 ports via USB.
For users who still need a gaming rig, MSI has also launched the MSI Stealth 15M which is one of their lightest and slimmest gaming laptops yet at 15.95mm thin while weighing under 2kg. The MSI Stealth 15M comes with a 15.6-inch 1080P 144Hz display, the aforementioned 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU, the beefy current-gen NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q graphics card with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM, up to 64GB DDR4 RAM, PCIe Gen4 SSDs and Thunderbolt 4 support.
