MSI Venture 14 AI with AI features and Intel Core Ultra 125H CPU for work and classes launched in Malaysia

Beyond their famous line-up of gaming laptops like their Titan and Raider series laptops, MSI is also a dab hand at laptops for work too and have just rolled out the new MSI Venture 14 AI and MSI Venture 16 AI laptops in Malaysia that are intended for both paperwork crunching and classwork too.

On top of the obligatory addition of CoPilot, the Venture 14 AI and Venture 16 AI laptops also have a number of AI-driven features unique to MSI laptops. Among them include an MSI AI Engine that optimises system performance for specific tasks, an AI LAN Manager that optimises bandwidth for smoother videocalls and gaming as well as an AI Noise Cancellation Pro that filters out background noise during video calls.

In terms of hardware, the MSI Venture 14 AI comes with a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display that has 2,880 x 1,800 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and features 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Powering the laptop is an Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor paired with 16GB DDR5 RAM and has 512GB for storage along with Intel Arc integrated graphics. 

In terms of connectivity, the MSI Venture 14 AI comes with the works including fast WiFi 6E, Bluetooth V5.3 and also has a HDMI 2.1 port, a wired ethernet port, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C port that has PowerDelivery 3.0 and DisplayPort support as well as two USB Type-A ports. In Malaysia, this model retails for RM4,099 and also ships with a free copy of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021.

If you need something a bit bigger, the MSI Venture 16 AI has similar specifications including the same processor, RAM and storage as the Venture 14 AI but has a slightly larger 16-inch OLED display that also has a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 but slightly lower 2,048 x 1,280 pixels resolution as well as a keyboard with a numeric keypad. Like the Venture 14 AI, you also get a free copy of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021. For the larger display, you fork out RM400 more at RM4,499.
