Content creator laptops typically are built with all the grace and all the dimensions of a brick outhouse but the new Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED UX6404 that’s arriving in Malaysia this month is surprisingly light at 1.6kg while featuring some seriously cutting edge hardware under the hood along with a price tag to match.
The new Asus Zenbook Pro 14 OLED UX6404 has the slim dimensions expected of a Zenbook series laptop at just 17.9mm thin while featuring hardware that can meet the needs of serious content creators and gamers alike. Culling from their prior popular ProArt series content creator laptops, the Zenbook 14 OLED UX6404 has the unique Asus DialPad rotary dial controller added alongside the touchpad which allows for easier navigation through Adobe’s suite of apps as well as selected other apps.
Up front, you get a 14.5-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800 pixels) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 and DisplayHDR 500 True Black certification for accurate colour rendition onscreen. Flanking the display is a Harman Kardon-certified sound system tuned by Dolby Atmos.
Under the hood, the Zenbook Pro 14 OLED UX6404 hosts just the latest 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H processor paired with 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 1TB SSD and a beefy NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card with 125W TDP as well as a MUX Switch. With hardware like this, the laptop is more than capable of tackling Cyberpunk 2077 on high settings and rendering hefty video too.
The laptop is also kitted out in terms of I/O with a Thunderbolt 4, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, a HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader and a combo audio jack.
