New HONOR X9a 5G phone coming to Malaysia

When it comes to phones, HONOR is carving out an interesting niche for themselves with a variety of workhorse and premium phones like the HONOR 70 and the Magic 4 Pro along with laptops and tablets too but their release game is on point as they’ve just released a teaser for a new HONOR X9a 5G phone that’s slated for deployment in the near future including Malaysia.

What is the HONOR X9a 5G?

The official statement teases an image of the rear backplate of the phone along with an emphasis in large font that it has an ‘Ultra-tough OLED Curved Display’ which, according to the official press release consists of 0.65mm Reinforced Glass and has survived 33 different drop tests including landing on marble and concrete. 

Beyond these broad statements and an image of the rear backplate, HONOR hasn’t furnished much details for their phone beyond the fact that it will be ‘coming soon to stores near you’ without a specific launch date and that it would, based on its nomenclature have 5G connectivity.
