New LG PuriCare AeroCatTower for homes with cats launched in Malaysia; priced from RM70 per month

LG has just launched their new PuriCare AeroCatTower Air Purifier that has a unique twist for cat owners. As you’d likely surmise from tis name, this is Malaysia’s first purifier designed specifically for homes with cats that pamper our feline friends while keeping the air clean.

What is the LG PuriCare AeroCatTower Air Purifier 

Resembling a rather abstract bar chair, the LG PuriCare AeroCatTower Air Purifier isn’t designed for people to sit on. The footstool looking portion is intended as a step platform to help older cats and those with shorter legs to get up onto the bar stool looking section which acts as a heated nook for them to catch a nap with an adjustable setting for kittens and adult cats. The pillar that holds up the nook itself is where the air purifier assembly is located.

Rather than leaving it constantly on and wasting leccy, the device features a sensor that detects when a cat is using it and turns it on accordingly. On paper, the air purifier is able to accommodate cats up to 15kg and also features a built-in scale and weight monitoring system, all accessible via their LG ThinQ app.

Furkid comfort aside, the LG PuriCare AeroCatTower Air Purifier has a 360-degree airflow with a HEPA filter that reduces 99% of pet dander and nasty odours along with UVnano tech to eliminate 99.9(% of harmful bacteria and viruses on the fan blades.
