New vivo X200 series with Dimensity 9400 CPU and Zeiss optics launched in Malaysia; prices start from RM3,599
vivo has revealed the latest successor to last years X100 series in Malaysia fresh from its China debut that offers improved performance across the board including a better Dimensity 9400 chipset as well as improved Zeiss optics dubbed the vivo X200 series which consist of the X200 Pro and the more affordable vivo X200.
Vivo X200 series specs
At a glance, both the vivo X200 and X200 Pro look similar to each other with rounded rear camera housings and generally similar silhouettes with gently rounded corners but the vivo X200 Pro is actually sized slightly larger with a 6.78-inch AMOLED quad-curved display with an adaptive refresh rate of 0.1Hz – 120Hz. Powering the vivo X200 Pro is the latest Dimensity 9400 processor running Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15 under the hood paired with 16GB RAM along with an additional 16GB of virtual Extended RAM assigned off the onboard 512GB of non-expandable storage.
The vivo X200 Pro is the more powerful of the vivo X200 series with a 50MP VCS Ultra True Colour Main camera with Zeiss optics, a 200MP Zeiss APO Telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra wide angle camera while the front features a 50MP ultra wide angle camera with the whole array complemented by a vivo V3+ imaging chip. Keeping the phone juiced is a 6,000mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

The vivo X200 has a slightly smaller 6.67-inch AMOLED quad-curved display with up to a 120Hz refresh rate, the same Dimensity 9400 processor as the X200 Pro along with Android 15 overlaid with FunTouch OS 15 as well as 16GB RAM and 512GB Of storage. Where it differs is that it has a slightly smaller 5,800mAh battery with 90W FlashCharge wired charging but lacks wireless charging.

The vivo X200 also has a slightly more modest camera setup that consists of a triple 50MP camera array with a 50MP VCS True Colour main camera, a 50MP Zeiss telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra wide angle camera augmented by a V2 imaging chip.
Common to both vivo X200 series phones is an IP68 and IP69 chassis for resistance to dust and water immersion.
