Oppo Reno14 series launched in Malaysia with three variants – all with AI photography features and IP69 chassis; prices start from RM1,399
In a gala event dubbed the OOO Music Festival, Oppo Malaysia officially launched their latest midrange Reno14 series phones that consist of the top of the line Reno14 Pro, the Reno14 and the affordable Reno14 F in Malaysia with prices that start from RM1,399.
What is the Oppo Reno14 series
In terms of hardware, the Oppo Reno14 Pro is the most powerful of the Reno14 series with a large 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate,, a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor running Android 15 and ColorOS 15 and an all 50-MP set of cameras with a rear 50MP primary, ultra wide angle and telephoto camera and a front-facing 50MP camera as well. Keeping it juiced is a 6,200mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The Oppo Reno14 Pro also has IP69 dust and water resistance.
Slightly lower down the totem pole is the mainline Oppo Reno14 that has a slightly smaller 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, a MediTek Dimensity 8350 processor running Android 15 and ColorOS 15. The rear has a triple camera setup that consist of a 50MP primary, 50MP telephoto camera and 8MP ultra wide angle camera with a 50MP front-facing selfie camera. Keeping the Oppo Reno14 juiced is a 6,000mAh battery with 80W wired charging support. This model also gets IP68 dust and water resistance.
The base Oppo Reno14 F is the most affordable phone of the bunch with a 6.57-inch display that has 1080 x 2,372 pixels resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1 processor with the same Android 15 and ColorOS 15 as its siblings and a triple camera setup pared down to a 50MP primary, 8MP ultra wide angle and 2MP macro camera with the front selfie camera using a 32MP sensor. For power, the Oppo Reno14 F uses a 6,000mAH battery with 45W wired charging. The chassis itself also retains a similar IP69 dust and water resistance as the other Reno14 series phones too.
Of note is that the Reno14 Pro and Reno 14 both feature fast WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5.4 while the F variant uses slower WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.
Oppo Reno14 series prices
In Malaysia, the Oppo Reno14 Pro comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage for RM2,999 while the Oppo Reno14 comes with 12GB RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage with the former priced at RM2,199 and the latter at RM2,599. The base Oppo Reno14 F has the most variants with an online-exclusive 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant retailing for RM1,399, a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant for RM1,599 and a 12GB RAM with 512GB variant for RM1,799.
