The Pearl Pelegrina speakers now available in Malaysia; rich sound is yours for RM160,000

If cash is no object, you’ll appreciate what the new Pearl collection wireless speakers have to offer with a full line-up now available in Malaysia. Their top of the line model, the Pearl Pelegrina aims to offer divine sound for the modest price of RM160,000 per pair. Fortunately the other speakers in the Pearl line-up including the eponymous Pearl itself, the Pearl Akoya, the Pearl Myuki, the Pearl Keshi and the Pearl Sub are more modestly priced with the most affordable being just RM13,000 per set.

What is the Pearl Pelegrina

The Pearl Pelegrina is named after a 55-carat pearl created to mark Cabasse’s 70th anniversary and offers up 3,700 RMS per speaker, a dynamic range of 134db and features tri-coaxial drivers with 30cm HELD woofers ensconced in a spherical enclosure and an exquisite Lissajous curve stand. As mentioned earlier, this retails for RM160,000 for a matching set of two speakers.

What other speakers are in the Pearl series?

Next up, the Pearl itself has 25cm subwoofers and a tri-coaxial speaker for 360-degree sound at a price of RM17,000. 

The Pearl Akoya is designed for smaller rooms and has a tri-coxial driver,  bass speaker, Bluetooth remote and an asking price of RM9000 each.

In the case of the Pearl Myuki, you get a sleek design that has a DOM 45 full-range loudspeaker, dual 12cm bass drivers and your voice of solo mono or stereo pairing options to offer up to 109dB when paired up together in stereo mode. Battery life is rated for up to 12 hours per use and it also has a swanky carrying handle for RM56,00. 

Last but not least, the Pearl Keshi is a 2.1 system with a subwoofer and two small satellite speakers to offer up to 1050W RMS of total power with support for high-resolution audio for RM5,600 per set.
