The recent Petal Ads Summit 2023 which was jointly organised by Huawei Malaysia and the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA) with a theme of ‘Go Beyond, Go Borderless’ shared the boundless opportunities for businesses and organisations to expand their potential beyond Malaysia’s borders with the power of mobile advertising.
What happened at the Petal Ads Summit 2023
Taking place in downtown Bukit Bintang, the Petal Ads Summit 2023 saw a host of invited guests witnessing Petal Ads’ inaugurating their rebranding programme from their prior Huawei Ads brand name to better reflect the ability to offer borderless, innovative marketing solutions.
“As we Go Beyond, Go Borderless, it is a must to leverage the power of digitalisation in driving tourism growth. With Malaysia’s impressive performance in 2022, we are poised to reach new heights in 2023 and beyond,” said Iskandar Mirza Deputy Director-General of Tourism Malaysia. According to official numbers, Malaysia is looking at getting 16.1 million tourist arrivals in 2023 which will potentially generate RM49.2 billion in tourist receipts.
“Whether it is to attract those around the globe into our country or to strengthen the names of local brands beyond Malaysia, the setup of this strong ecosystem plays an important role. In order to drive the digital economy, collaborative partnerships with strong decision-makers and the support of the government are instrumental,” said Mahadhir Aziz, Chief Executive Officer of MDEC.
