Awesome Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro Malaysia prices revealed in global Singapore launch; new flagships start from RM2,499
Fresh from their China launch, Poco is now launching their latest powerful yet affordable flagship phones which are the top of the line Poco F7 Ultra and the Poco F7 Pro at Marina Bay Sands. With flagship grade chipsets, both Poco phones are made to go toe to toe with other flagship phones.
Here’s how both new Poco F7 series phones stack up and how much they will cost in Malaysia.
Poco F7 Ultra Specs

As the more powerful variant of the two, the Poco F7 Ultra comes equipped with impressive specifications as well as an eye-catching shade of either yellow or black colourways along with IP68 dust and water resistance.
As a visual identifier, the Poco F7 Ultra has cameras in each housing and a bronze camera ring whereas the Poco F7 Pro has a plain camera ring around its rear camera array and only two cameras with the third camera housing an IR sensor.

You get a 6.67-inch 2K Flow AMOLED display with 3,200 x 1,440 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate along with 3,200 nits peak brightness. The display also has 3,840Hz PWM dimming, supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut and has up to a 480Hz touch sampling rate. Flaking the display are stereo speakers and like many Xiaomi designs, has an IR blaster to control other appliances up top.
Running under the hood of the Poco F7 Ultra is the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with either 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and fast 256GB UFS 4.1 storage. A higher end configuration with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage is also available. The phone also runs on the latest Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.
Uniquely, the phone has a dedicated VisionBooster D7 chipset that offers better graphics performance.
On the rear, you get a 50MP F/1.6 main camera with OIS, a 50MP F/2.0 telephoto camera with 2.5x zoom as well as OIS and a 32MP F/2.2 ultra wide angle camera. Up front, you get a single 32MP camera for selfies and mugshots. Keeping the phone powered is a 5,300mAh battery with 120W HyperCharge fast charging and 50W wireless HyperCharge and Poco also provides the charger in the box.
Poco F7 Pro Specs
The more affordable Poco F7 Pro has a similarly sized 6.67-inch 2K Flow AMOLED display as the higher end Ultra version but differs in terms of the chipset it uses, with a slightly older but still potent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset running the show with either 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
Flanking the display are stereo speakers and the phone also has an IR blaster. Like the Ultra, the Pro version also runs Android 15 with Xiaomi HyperOS 2.
The Poco F7 Pro also has a different camera configuration with a 50MP F/1.6 main camera with OIS and a secondary 8MP F/2.2 ultra wide angle camera while the front hosts a 20MP front camera for selfies and mugshots. While a third camera housing is visible on the Pro, it’s primarily window dressing.

Interestingly, the Poco F7 Pro has a larger 6,000mAh battery than the Ultra mode but has slower 90W HyperCharge wired charging. In terms of available colourways, the Poco F7 Pro comes in black, silver and blue with the whole affair retaining IP68 dust and water resistance, the same as the Ultra variants.

The official prices for the Poco F7 Ultra make it one of the most affordable means to get a phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform in Malaysia but Poco is further sweetening the pot with special sales promotions from now until April 9 on the official mi.com store and on the official POCO stores on Shopee and Lazada.
Until April 9 2025, you can get RM300 off the price of both configurations of the Poco F7 Ultra and get a free wireless charging stand worth RM229 too.
The 256GB version of the Poco F7 Pro gets an early RM260 discount, paring the price down to RM2,039 while the 512GB version gets an RM360 discount, knocking the price temporarily down to RM2,139. Of note with both the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra is that both phones will get 4 years of OS updates all the way to Android 19 and 6 years of security updates which does add to its longevity.
