PUBG Mobile selected as Medalled Event for 2022 Asian Games
Everyone’s favourite battle royale game PUBG Mobile has been selected as one of the 8 games that will be medalled events at the upcoming 2022 Asian Games that will take place in Hangzhou, China.
Running from 10th to 25th September 2022, the 2022 Asian Games are a multi-sport event that is held every 4 years and marks a growing acceptance of esports being a medalled competitive event. The version being played for the games is slightly different though it has the core underlying game mechanics that’s dubbed the PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version.
Alongside PUBG Mobile, the 2022 Asian Games will also feature Arena of Valor Asian Games Version, DOTA 2, Dream Three Kingdoms 2, EA SPORTS FIFA branded soccer games, Hearthstone, League of Legends and Street Fighter V.
