Rainbow Six Siege Sugar Fright is their scariest limited time event yet

As gamers we’re pretty much inured to the usual fetishistic lashings of military inspired tech and realistic depictions of current edge lead-slinging hardware but the latest limited time event for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege dubbed Sugar Fright is the literal stuff of nightmares. 

Rather than the semi-realistic look of the game, Sugar Fright takes place with team deathmatch style rules with respawn turned on where you’re stuck in a map with your opponents looking like muppets from a Jim Henson show…assuming Jim Henson had muppets packing tactical gear and fully automatic weapons that is. You have to off your opposition and collect enough candy from their bullet strewn remains to win. 

Gaze into their blank eyes and don’t tell me you’re not mortally terrified for your life and sanity  in Rainbow Six Siege Sugar Fright.

The Sugar Fright map is a limited time only event for Halloween and also has its own collection of 30 items for Zofia, Capitao, IQ, Nomad, Thermite, Castle, Ela, Frost, Goyo and Pulse which give them a muppet skin akin to the game. You can also earn Sugar Fright Packs via an in-game event challenge or buy them outright for 300 R6 credits or 12,500 Renown points each.
