Razer Seiren V2 Pro and Seiren V2 X for professionals revealed; priced from RM489

RazerCon 2021 is just around the corner but they’ve released an interesting surprise ahead of the live streamed event that’s oddly appropriate as they’ve just announced the debut of the Razer Seiren V2 Pro and V2 X that are intended for professional streamers to offer excellent audio quality in an easy plug-and-play package.

Effectively upgunned successors to their earlier Seiren streaming mikes like their Razer Seiren Mini and Seiren X that were released awhile back, the Razer Seiren V2 Pro and V2 X resemble each other somewhat with similar pedestal designs, a pill-shaped microphone housing and mostly similar hardware under the hood though the Razer Seiren V2 Pro is the more sophisticated and pricier of the two.

The Razer Seiren V2 Pro features a 30mm Dynamic Microphone with a 20Hz frequency and a 96KHz sample rate response mounted on an adjustable design to sit it at any angle. It features improved noise suppression via the inclusion of a high pass filter to block out unwanted low frequencies and an analog gain limiter to limit voice distortion. The microphone also integrates an on-mic gain control, on-unit volume control knob and an on/off audio toggle.

The Razer Seiren V2 X features a slightly smaller form factor and uses a 25mm Condenser Microphone that has a Supercardioid Pickup pattern, features an analog gain limiter to minimise voice distortion but lacks the high pass filter of the Pro version but retains a similar on-gain mic control and on/off light-up audio toggle though it lacks the on-unit volume control.
