Realme 11 Pro series now official in Malaysia with prices from RM1,499

Smartphone brand realme has thrown their hat into the ring with the launch of their new realme 11 Pro series phones that consist of the Realme 11 Pro+ and the realme 11 Pro, both of which feature 5G connectivity and prices that start from RM1,499.

What is the realme 11 Pro series

The top of the line realme 11 Pro+ features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2,412 pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate paired with stereo speakers. Running under the hood is a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor built on a 6nm process running Android 13 paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.

Of note is its rear camera that features a 200MP F/1.69 primary camera paired with optical image stabilisation and a claimed 4X lossless zoom by cropping the image from the main camera sensor. Riding shotgun is an 8MP ultra wide angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. Up front, the phone has a 32MP selfie camera. Keeping the realme 11 Pro+ powered is a 5,000mAh battery with fast 100W wired charging. 

If you’re on a budget, you can opt for the realme 11 Pro which has a similar quality 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with stereo speakers flanking it along with a similar MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor. The standard realme 11 pro also has a similar 5,000mAh battery to the Pro+ model though it has slightly slower 67W wired charging, has less RAM and storage with the realme 11 Pro featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and a different camera setup. You get a 100MP F/1.8 primary camera with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor with the front hosting a 16MP selfie camera.

Realme 11 Pro series price in Malaysia

In Malaysia, the realme 11 Pro+ is priced at RM1,999 with 12GB RAM and 512GB of storage with two colourways that they’ve designated as Sunrise Beige and Oasis Green as well as a slated availability from 21st July 2023 onwards.

The more affordable realme 11 Pro 5G is priced at RM1,499 and features 8GB RAM and 256GB storage with Sunrise Beige, Oasis Green and Astral Black as colour options for purchase. Also launched at the same time are the realme Buds Air 5 Pro wireless earbuds priced at RM399 and the realme Watch 3 Pro at RM429.
