Refreshed Alienware m15 & m17 R3 gaming notebooks and powerful Aurora R11 desktop inbound for Malaysia!
The Alienware brand of gaming notebooks by Dell has gotten a significant addition to their line-up as they’ve announced that the Alienware m15 R3 and the Alienware m17 R3 gaming notebooks and the Alienware Aurora R11 gaming desktop are all coming to Malaysia in the coming weeks.
According to Dell Malaysia’s latest update, the Alienware m15 and m17 gaming notebooks will be available from 22nd May 2020 while the Aurora R11 will be available from 30th June 2020 onwards.
Alienware m15 R3 & Alienware m17 R3 Price & Specifications
The Alienware m15 R3 and m17 R3 offer a significant variety of configurations for various markets. On paper the Alienware m15 R3 comes with 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz 7ms 300-nit displays as standard which can be upgraded all the way to a 15.6-inch OLED UHD 60Hz 1ms 400-nits model with Tobii Eyetracking tech for selected games.
In terms of processor options the Alienware m15 R3 variants all come with the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors with the stock configuration packing an Intel Core i5-10300H CPU and the highest possible variant being a 19-10980HK CPU while the GPU can be maxed out to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM with Max-Q. Storage options max out at 32GB RAM and up to a pair of 2TB SSDs in RAID 0 configuration with a 512GB SSD for storage. We don’t have the full specifications yet but the Alienware m15 R3 with an i7-10750H CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce 1660Ti graphics card will be priced at RM9,899.
The Alienware m17 R3 is a larger sized variant of the m15 R3 with much of the same design aesthetics with a larger display and most of the same kit under the hood. DIsplay options start out at a 17.3-inch 144Hz Full HD display and max out at a 17.3-inch 25ms 100% RGB colour gamut compliant UHD display with Tobii Eyetracking. Processor options are all 10th Gen Intel processors with the ground floor variant being an i5-10300H, the midrange being an i7-10750H and the highest end being an i9-10980HK. In terms of GPU, the notebook maxes out at a beefy Geforce RTX 2080 SUPER with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM. In Malaysia, the confirmed variant will be one packing an i7-10750H processor with an NIDIA GeForce RTX2070 with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM for RM12,199. More detailed configuration specifications and variants will be revealed on the launch date itself on the official Dell website.
Alienware Aurora R11 Price & Specifications
The Aurora R11 gaming desktop retains the same striking aesthetics with a unique looking chassis silhouette and a variety of configurations that max out at a 10th gen Intel COre i9 10900KF decacore processor, up to 64GB 3,200MHz DDR4 RAM, up to a 2TB NVME M.2 PCie SSD with options for Intel Optane and up to a dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM with NVLink SLI enabled cards.
For Malaysia, the confirmed option, excluding possible variants later on is one with a 10th Gen Intel Core i6 processor – either 10400F or 10600KF and an NVIDIA GeForce 1660 Ti with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM for a princely RM9,899. The Aurora R11 is slated for arrival on 30th June 2020.
