[Review] Wiko U Feel Lite – Does Wiko’s Workhorse Wonder Walk the Talk?
Battery Life & Conclusion
In terms of longevity, the Wiko U Feel Lite manages a modest middle ground with less than a day’s worth of use. You’ll need a top-up later on in the day if you go in full tilt with data, calls, gaming and heavy use throughout the day. The lack of a removable battery and fast charging means that you’ll have to be fairly frugal with usage unless you tote a power bank around but at this price point adopters are likely not power users working from the penthouse office.
For what you pay for the U Feel Lite offers a lot of goodies out of the box. For the price of entry, you get a screen protector, a casing, a set of SIM card adaptors, headphones and the phone itself sports some welcome features – a fingerprint reader, dual SIM card slots and expandable memory though the phone itself sports plasticky build quality. The UI overlay does have quite a few interesting features about it like its gesture based shortcuts though more functionality could have been implemented with the fingerprint reader. If you’re on a tight budget or looking for an introductory phone for someone, this is worth a look.
WHAT WE LIKED Comprehensive bundled accessories, runs Marshmallow, fingerprint sensor
WHAT WE DIDN’T Recessed home button is hard to press, underwhelming rear camera
WE SAY The Wiko U Feel Lite brings a lot of value to the table for what you pay for as it is one of the cheapest fingerprint-enabled phones available along with a comprehensive set of accessories that let you get started using it straight out of the box
