ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 Malaysia specs and price revealed; gaming laptop starts from RM7,999
The Lunar New Year is just around the corner in a matter of hours and Asus Republic of Gamers has announced that their latest refreshed ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 and their TUF Gaming A15 2024 gaming laptops are now available in Malaysia.

The new ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 has been revamped from within and without with a lighter, slimmer all-aluminium CNC machined chassis weighs 1.5kg while also being just 1.59cm thick; its predecessor was a hefty 1.72kg and 2.05cm thick. Another notable change is that they’ve nixed the AniMe display on the back to make it more streamlined.
Aesthetics aside, the new ROG Zephyrus G14 2024 comes with a 14-inch ROG Nebula OLED display with 3K (2,990 x 1,800 pixels) resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate as well as NVIDIA G-SYNC and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Powering the laptop is an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS 4GHz CPU with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, 1TB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with a max 90W TGP. Keeping it powered is a 73Wh battery. In Malaysia, this variant retails for RM8,999.
A slightly more affordable variant exists that is mostly similar with an identical display and processor as well as storage but swaps the RAM out to a lower 16Gb and an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU costs RM7,999. You can check out the official page here.
Asus TUF Gaming A15 2024 Malaysia specs and price
For those on a slightly more modest budget, the TUF Gaming A15 hosts a number of different configurations built around a similar AMD Ryzen 9 8945H processor as the higher end Zephyrus G14. The top of the line variant hosts a 15-inch QHD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) resolution display with 100% sRGB and 165Hz refresh rate, 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD along with the NVIDIA RTX 4070. This version retails for RM6,999.
Lower down the totem pole is a variant with a lower end 144HD 144Hz panel and otherwise similar RAM, storage, GPU and CPU for RM6,799. The base version has the same configuration but swaps the GPU for an RTX 4060 while retaining the same 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD and 144Hz FHD panel for RM6,499.
