Samsung launches new Galaxy A07 5G budget phone from RM699

Samsung has just rolled out the new Galaxy A07 5G, their latest addition to the midrange Galaxy A-series that offers Google Gemini and Circle to Search with Google support for just RM949 though you can get it at promotional prices for a limited time.

What is the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G?

The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G has a 6.7-inch LCD with HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and 800 nits in high brightness mode. Running under the hood is a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and either 6GB RAM/128GB storage or 8GB RAM/256GB storage variants.

Regardless of storage variant, the Galaxy A07 5G has 5G connectivity and features a rear dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera and 2MP depth sensor while the front features a single 8MP camera for selfies. Keeping the phone powered is a 6,000mAh battery.

Of note is that the phone comes with One UI 8.0 out of the box and supports six generations of Android OS and six years of security updates which are exceptional for budget phones. The Galaxy A07 also supports IP54 dust and water resistance.

In Malaysia, the Galaxy A07 5G with 8GB RAM/256GB storage retails for RM949 while the 6GB RAM/128GB storage retails for RM699 and comes in your choice of Light Green, Light Violet and Light Black colourways.

For a limited time from now till 28 February 2026, the Galaxy A07 5G 8GB RAM/256GB comes with a special RM250 promotional rebate that knocks the price down to just RM699. At present, there’s no rebate or discount for the base 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant.
