Samsung offers RM100 discount for Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A30s
Most of the limelight is focused on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S20 series phones but the brand is also drumming up interest for their workhorse Galaxy A51 and their recently upgraded Galaxy A30s that now has 128GB of onboard storage with an RM100 discount via trading in your old phone.
Starting from today until the end of the month, which is 31st March, you can trade in any phone to be entitled to an RM100 discount off the official retail price when you purchase the Samsung Galaxy A51 or the Samsung Galaxy A30s 128GB variant. This means you can get the Galaxy A51 for just RM1,199 and the Galaxy A30s 128GB for RM899.
To refresh your memory, the Galaxy A51 was launched alongside its pricier sibling the Galaxy A71 that we reviewed recently. The Galaxy A51 has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display that has a cutout for a 32-MP selfie camera, runs on the Exynos 9611 octacore processor and has 6GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage while it has a 4,000mAh battery to keep the lights on. The rear has a quad camera with a 48-MP+12-MP ultra wide angle+5-MP macro+5-MP depth sensor setup. You can check out our CES preview on the Galaxy A51 here.
The Galaxy A30s 128GB is identical to last year’s version save for the upgraded storage so you’re getting a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-V display, a 16-MP selfie camera up front, an Exynos 7904 octacore processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The rear has a triple camera setup (25-MP+5-MP+8-MP ultrawide angle). Power is provided by a 4,000mAh battery.
The deal is good at all Samsung Experience stores and authorised dealers nationwide though it’s not available at Samsung’s telco partners and online stores. For more details swing by their official page for the promotion at https://www.samsung.com/my/offer/mobile/galaxy-a30s-a51-promotion/
