Samsung Galaxy A52 5G launched in Malaysia priced at RM1,899
Originally announced at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2021 global livestream alongside its siblings the Galaxy A72 and the conventional Galaxy A52, the Galaxy A52 5G is now available in Malaysia with a price tag of RM1,899.
After the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2021 live stream, Samsung Malaysia announced the preorder and launch of the conventional LTE-enabled Galaxy A52, the Galax A72 and both the Galaxy A32 and Galaxy A32 5G.
The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G are externally similar with the same colourways available in your choice of Awesome Violet, Awesome Blue, Awesome Black and Awesome White.
Where both differ is that the Galaxy A52 5G has a higher refresh rate rate 120Hz display versus the A52 which has a slower 90Hz display along with a slightly faster Snapdragon 750G processor with 5G support (FDD and TDD).
These two differences aside, both phones have 8GB RAM, 256GB of expandable storage, the same rear quad camera array with an OIS-equipped 64MP primary camera and the same 4,500mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

At RM1,899, you’re paying an extra RM400 for the Galaxy A52 5G over its LTE-enabled sibling that costs RM1,499. This does however build on what is already a solid base that is among the most full featured midrange phones in the market and one of the best workhorse phones that Samsung has ever made.
