Here’s what awesome things you can experience at Samsung Galaxy Space @ APW Bangsar from now till 12 March 2023 [Updated]

The Samsung Galaxy Space that’s now live and running at APW Bangsar is arguably the most fun I’ve had in ages. While the vast majority of product showcases are dreary affairs, the new Samsung Galaxy Space is equal parts a product showcase for the new Galaxy S23 series phones blended with a cultural fair and the chance to get some great grub too.

What can you experience at Samsung Galaxy Space at APW Bangsar?

When you walk into APW Bangsar, you’ll get to walk through a curated array of vendors by Pingmin market and the array of kit on offer is impressive from artisanal loaves of bread, dainty dumplings steamed to order to some serious EDC gear, there’s something to eat, drink and buy for everyone.

The Samsung Galaxy Space also hosts a variety of workshops for free though registration is required due to limited slots such as Korek Deeper’s lanyard workshop where you can hack, weave and scorch your way to a bespoke phone lanyard.

Other interesting vendors of note include a fantastic purveyor of earrings made to look like tiny Malaysian delicacies, artistically exquisite miniature paintings, scarves and more.

Once you’ve had your fill, you can then saunter on over to the special Galaxy S23 series experiential area where visitors can put the new Galaxy S23 Ultra to the test in a variety of low light scenarios while having fun too.

While the vast majority of the Samsung Galaxy Space grounds are free to visit and explore, the special experiential space requires users to sign up beforehand with limited slots per day but it’s well worth the trouble. Should visitors not have a Galaxy S23 Ultra at hand, they can borrow one from the counter to field test inside the experiential space itself.

The experiential area itself is shaped like an elongated U spread across four large zones, each of which are a veritable Instagrammer or TikToker’s delight with blazing neon hues, tons of textures and shareworthy exhibits aplenty. The first zone dubbed the Alley is replete with neon signage circa late 80’s Hong Kong with an authentic barber’s pole and a garden bench and swing on the far end.

The next zone, dubbed the Ballie is a full sized ball pit replete with neon flamingo floaties and, as you’d likely surmise, a sea of rubber balls. Next up, The Escape is an animated photo wall that is in effect a fast-moving speed-ramped vista of Kuala Lumpur’s most scenic locations which makes for interesting photo opportunities.

Last but not least is a Splash Art zone where users can make their mark, quite literally, with neon paint on the walls. Assuming you complete all four zones, you’re entitled to redeem a free cup of coffee.
