Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Tab S11 tablets with Dimensity 9400 CPUs coming to Malaysia

Alongside the Galaxy S25 FE and Buds3 FE, Samsung revealed their latest Galaxy Tab S11 series slates. This time around, there’s no Plus variant and the line-up instead consists of just the larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and the more compact base Galaxy Tab S11. Its predecessors, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra and the Galaxy Tab S10+ were launched late last year.

This time around, both tablets have had improvements in terms of hardware and overall design with a revamped SPen stylus for better ergonomics, a lighter build and a better processor.

Both the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Tab S11 both use the flagship Dimensity 9400+ built on a 3nm process which offers 24% better CPU performance, 27% better gPU performance and 33% better NPU performance compared to the Tab S10 series’ Dimensity 9300+ chipset.

The new SPen stylus has been redesigned with a hexagonal shape for better ergonomics, has a cone-shaped tip for smoother writing and ships as standard in the box alongside the keyboard case.

Both tablets also benefit from Samsung’s latest Android 16 with One UI 8 running under the hood as well as a revamped version of Samsung DeX, their desktop-style interface overlay that now offers four virtual workspaces – the equivalent of Windows desktops – for different themes and tasks.

Beyond packing the same processor, both the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and tab S11 also differ in terms of size and several other specifications.

The larger Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is 5.1mm thin and weighs 692g while featuring a larger 14.7-inch display ith 2,960 x 1,848 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits peak brightness and 12GB RAM with either 256GB or 512gb of storage. The rear has a dual 13MP and 8MP camera combo while the front has a single 12MP camera. Powering the Tab S11 Ultra is a 11,600mAH battery with 45W wired fast charging.

The more compact Galaxy Tab S11 has a chassis that weighs just 471g and is 5.3mm thin while featuring an 11-inch display with 2,560 x 1600 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage as the only configuration available. The rear has a single 13MP camera while the front has a single 12MP camera. Keeping it powered is an 8,400mAh battery with 45W wired charging.

Of note with both tablets is that they come with quad speaker arrays and both will ship with the SPen and keyboard case as standard.

Both will also come in your choice of either a Gray or Silver colourway. Samsung is also committed to offering 7 years of OS and security updates for both tablets and both the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S11 will come in 5G enabled and WiFi only configurations.

The Galaxy Tab S11 series will be available from 19 September onwards priced from RM3,899 for the base Galaxy Tab S11 WiFi with 256GB storage in Malaysia culminating in the top of the line Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra 512GB with 5G connectivity at RM6,999.
