Hari Raya is just around the corner and with all that duit raya in circulation, now is the perfect time to upgrade your work setup as Samsung is offering their best deal yet for the Galaxy Tab S9 256GB in both WiFi and 5G enabled versions as they both enjoy RM300 in savings off the retail price and have a free book cover keyboard worth RM899 thrown in for good measure.

New Galaxy Tab S9 256GB prices in Malaysia

As part of their new Gempak Raya with Galaxy Tab promotion, you can now get the Galaxy Tab S9 256GB WiFi variant inclusive of a free book cover keyboard for RM3,899 (original price RM4,199).

The Galaxy Tab S9 256GB 5G version also comes with a free book cover keyboard at a new RM4,549 price point (original price RM4,849).

The new RM300 in savings off the original retail price for both the Galaxy Tab S9 256GB WiFi and 5G variants is permanent and will roll out starting today from 9 April 2024 onwards.

The reprice is only specific to the 256GB version of the Galaxy Tab S9 and the other models, including the Galaxy Tab S9+ and Tab S9 Ultra remain at their full price.

For the uninitiated, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 remains their premier compact flagship tablet, featuring an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120hz display, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset running Android 13 with OneUI 6 paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. One thing to note is that the Galaxy Tab S9, like its siblings, comes with its own S Pen stylus out of the box.

As par for the course for Samsung issued gear, the tablet gets 4 years of OS and 5 years of security updates which ensures extensive longevity.

For those on a more modest budget and general content creation duties, the Gempak Raya with Galaxy Tab promotions also offer RM300 in savings off the original retail price the Galaxy Tab S9 FE in WiFi and 5G enabled versions too. The new RM300 reprice is permanent and also rolls out today nationwide in Malaysia.

Starting on the ground floor, you can get the Galaxy Tab S9 FE 128GB WiFi for just RM1,799 (original price RM2,099).

The 256GB WiFi variant can be had for just RM2,099 (Original price RM2,399). The Galaxy Tab S9 FE 128GB 5G also enjoys savings and is priced at RM2,399 (original price RM2,699) while the 256GB 5G version is now RM2,699 (original price RM2,999). Issued as standard with all versions of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a free S Pen stylus. 

Both tablets also benefit from Samsung’s DeX mode which lets you cast a desktop-style interface to a display to make it work as an ad hoc PC and also enjoy the same thing with a more efficient desktop layout on the tablet itself.

Better yet, both the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 FE have IP68 dust and water resistance which makes them better able to survive in up to 1.5 metres of freshwater for up to 30 minutes which ensures they survive a minor spill or two.
