Samsung launches Galaxy A and Galaxy J series phones plus RM2,000,000 of instant Raya rewards up for grabs
Samsung Malaysia has just introduced four new entry and midrange models to their Galaxy line-up of phones in the form of the Galaxy A6+, the Galaxy A6, the Galaxy J6 and the Galaxy J4 hot off the recent launch of their midrange Galaxy A8 and A8+ earlier this year. To coincide with the launch, Samsung is offering up prizes worth RM2,000,000 up for grabs.
These prizes consist of a host of a host of goodies ranging from phones, appliances, tablets and wearables from Samsung’s extensive line-up of devices all the way up to a brand new set of wheels from noted brands like Mercedes Benz, Honda, Vespa and more. To be in the running, customers need only purchase any Samsung Galaxy device from 24 May to 24 June 2018 and answer a simple question on the provided entry card. The new range of Galaxy A and J series phones are primarily entry to midrange level and all have Samsung’s usual vibrant Super AMOLED displays. The new Galaxy J6 has a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED HD+ Infinity display, a 1.6GHz octacore processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. The rear comes with a 13-MP f/1.9 autofocus camera while the front has an 8-MP f/1.9 camera for selfies. All this clocks in at RM799 with your choice of a shade of black, purple or gold for the Malaysia market.
The Galaxy J4 is slightly cheaper at RM599 and has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a rear 13-MP f/1.9 autofocus camera as well as a front-facing 5-MP selfie camera. It comes in your choice of black, purple as well as gold akin to the J6.
The Galaxy A6 has a more deluxe set of hardware and a higher price tag though it is still cheaper than the A8. For RM1099, you get a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display, a 1.6GHz octacore processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a rear 16-MP f/1.7 camera and a front-facing 16-MP f/1.9 selfie camera. The A6 comes in a shade of blue, black or gold.
Out of the new lot, the Galaxy A6+ has the best specifications. For RM1,399, you get a 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, a 1.8GHz octacore processor paired with 4GB RAM and 32GB of expandable storage, a rear 16-MP f/1.7 and 5-MP f/1.9 dual camera, a front-facing 24-MP f/1.9 selfie camera and your choice of black, gold and blue.
