New Samsung Malaysia Di Hatiku Campaign aspires to unite the nation
In these dark times, Samsung Malaysia Electronics is looking to spread a bit of sunshine and have kicked off a ‘Malaysia Di Hatiku’ campaign in partnership with Universal Music Malaysia that features the release of a single by the same name.
What is Malaysia Di Hatiku
The Malaysia Di Hatiku single features the talents of hip-hop artist Yonnyboii, Tabby from girl group Dolla and rappers Kmy Kmo and Luca Sickta that is marked via the release of a music video and TikTok campaign.
“The past year has seen Malaysians, and indeed the world, face unprecedented circumstances. Yet within this struggle is the opportunity for many of us to bring forth the ‘Malaysia Boleh’ spirit and goodwill. If music connects people, then love should be its message and we want Malaysians to share their love and be reminded of the possibilities that our nation can once more strive towards,” said Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer of Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
“Music is a human trait, one that we use to connect, to communicate, and to relate. With all that has happened this is an opportunity to bring in some positivity back to the community. As such we are pleased to be working once more with Samsung, not only in shining the spotlight on our local talents, but in working together to bring a positive change to the country,” said Kim Lim, Managing Director of Universal Music Malaysia.
From 20th August to 2nd September 2021, patriotic Malaysians can duet artists Yonnyboii or Tabby and even rap it out with Kmy Kmo and Luca Sickta on TikTok and hashtag #MalaysiaDiHatiku. The top 3 most creative submissions that capture the spirit of Malaysia Di Hatiku will each with a brand new Samsung Galaxy A32 each. Winners will be announced on 16 September 2021 which is Malaysia day.
