Sunway Medical Centre teams up with Samsung Malaysia for ‘Time to Move’ wellness campaign

Sunway Medical Centre has teamed up with Samsung Malaysia to launch the ‘Time to Move’ 90-day wellness programme that offers a path to better fitness and health for attendees along with the chance to win a Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and even a Galaxy Z Flip6.

What is the Time to Move programme

The Time to Move wellness programme is conducted over 90 days and are designed for individuals who are 18 years old and above who are not on any medication and are looking to improve their health. The health screening itself costs RM250 and needs to be taken at Sunway Medical Centre and taken within the last three months.

The programme begins with health screening at Sunway Wellness Centre including a bloody test and inbody test to assess critical biometrics and attendees then engage in a series of fitness challenges and health talks to improve their health and fitness. The recruitment process for the programme commenced earlier this month with more than 200 sign-ups with 60 participants selected to undergo the programme.

Where Samsung comes into the picture is that each participant will get a Galaxy Watch 7 to track daily activity, monitor calories burned, body composition and to measure sleep quality while monthly challenges will motivate participants to take part in physical activities and improve their sleep. Across the duration of the programme, trained healthcare professionals will provide guidance to participants and those in the programme will also get to take part in group workout sessions. 

By the end of 90 days, participants will undergo a final check-up to compare their results and celebrate their progress. The participant who shows the best progress will get a spanking new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 and a 3-day, 2-night getaway for two at The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat worth RM10,000. Another key incentive is that those who score 70% or higher get to keep their Samsung Smartwatch too.
