Galaxy S23 Ultra preorders exceed expectations says Samsung Head of Mobile eXperience Business TM Roh in Malaysia visit
Malaysians have plenty of love for the new Samsung Galaxy S23 series as TM Roh, President and Head of Samsung Electronics’ Mobile eXperience (MX) Business division revealed in a recent whistle-stop visit to Malaysia.
What did TM Roh say about Galaxy S23 series preorders in Malaysia?
According to TM Roh, the response for the Galaxy S23 series and the Galaxy S23 Ultra has been highly positive with many taking advantage of the storage upgrade preorder bonus to acquire higher capacity Galaxy S23 series phones.
”After unveiling the Galaxy S23 series, we have received a very positive market response in this region. Compared to the Galaxy S22 series, demand for pre-orders has increased, and interest in the Galaxy S23 Ultra has exceeded expectations,” he said.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which consists of the compact Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra were developed with customer feedback in mind according to Roh.
He further elaborated on how the Galaxy S23 series innovated in three key areas to deliver a truly ultimate premium smartphone experience – firstly an epic camera spearheaded by the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s new 200MP primary quad rear camera array, second via superb performance exemplified by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy processor that powers every Galaxy S23 series phone and which is currently the fastest Snapdragon chipset in the market and last but not least, increased sustainability via the inclusion of more recycled material in its manufacture.
“We put consumer needs first behind all our innovations, and we are working with partners globally to deliver the best technology and experiences of the future,” said TM Roh.
“Many consumers in this dynamic region, especially the younger demographic, have high interest in advanced and new mobile experiences. In the Galaxy S23 series, we have brought together innovative experiences in terms of camera, gaming and connectedness in a single smartphone. We have also used a wider variety of recycled materials in more components than in any other Samsung Galaxy smartphone, raising the bar for premium technology so consumers can enjoy the best experience while contributing to a healthier planet,” added Roh.
In Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will be available in general retail from 24th February 2023 onwards and online on www.samsung.com/my and for a limited time only from 24th to 31st March 2023, buyers of any of the Galaxy S23 series phones can get a free Samsung Galaxy Watch5 40mm worth RM1,099 on the house.
