Samsung launches new line-up of TVs in Malaysia enhanced with Vision AI

Samsung has launched their latest generation of AI TVs enhanced with their Vision AI along with a selection of soundbars too in Malaysia.

For the uninitiated, Vision AI is a platform baked into their new TVs that was revealed earlier this year at CES 2025 that leverage AI to offer gesture controls with a Galaxy Watch7 via their Universal Gesture feature while also offering adaptive brightness based on ambient light settings as well as offering abilities that enhance visual quality including AI upscaling for content and generative wallpaper to match your moods based on keywords.

While Samsung Vision AI took most of the limelight at the launch, their largest and most sophisticated series, the titular Neo QLED QN990F 8K Vision AI Smart TV that has a svelte 13.1mm profile and floating stand to make it as much an art piece as it is a TV took centre stage with your choice of either a 75-inch model for RM27,999 or a massive 85-inch model for RM39,999 for the Malaysia market.

The Neo QLED 8K series features the aforementioned Vision AI as well as their NQ8 AI Gen3 processor that has on-device AI to optimise video and audio in real-time be it with native 8K content or from upscale video from other sources. Additional AI features include 8K AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro and Real Depth Enhancer Pro.

Beyond its signature 8K Neo QLED 8K TV range, Samsung has also integrated Vision AI to their more mainstream Neo QLED 4K OLED and QLED series TVs as well.

Also launched were Samsung’s Q-Series 2025 soundbar line-up that consist of the HQ-Q990F, HW-Q930F, HE-Q800F and the HW-QS700F which integrate Wireless Dolby Atmos and Q-Symphony for synchronised sound with a compatible Samsung TV AI-driven sound optimisation and which feature 50% smaller subwoofers without compromising oun sound quality. In terms of pricing, they respectively cost RM5,899, RM4,499, RM3,599 and RM2,699.
