Samsung wins big at iF Design Awards 2018

While Samsung is famed for their smartphones like the recently launched Galaxy S9, they also make a host of other products too including TVs and a host of white goods. Samsung’s diligent efforts at producing some of the best kit on the planet has earned the brand a slew of awards at the prestigious International Forum (iF) Design Awards 2018.

The iF International Design Awards were first started in Germany in 1953 and have since become a byword and touchstone to recognise the best designed consumer products on the planet. Product submissions undergo a  rigorous gauntlet that evaluates design, innovativeness and more.
For 2018, Samsung won a whopping 55 awards at the iF International Design Awards which include four gold awards, 40 awards for superior product design, five for professional concept design, eight for communication design, eight for communication design, one for packaging design, one for packaging design and one for service design.
The gold award was conferred for Samsung’s Modernist Column Refrigerator, CHG90 QLED gaming monitor, the Odyssey gaming PC set, and the Samsung Power ensemble that consists of a battery pack and wireless charger intended as an aesthetically pleasing companion to the Galaxy series phones.
